Hinton’s Visitor information Center is your starting point as the gateway to the majestic Rocky Mountains, and is only 15 minutes to the Jasper National Park gates. Our amazing ambassadors at the centre can provide assistance with all sorts of hikes, lakes, trails, maps and Hidden Gems that exist in our region to explore. Consider playing a round of golf at the local course or for something different try your hand at the Disc course. Maybe biking and hiking is your thing, Hinton has miles of trails, just waiting for you to Hike or Bike and explore. Looking for a challenge, try the Bike Park! How about camping, Hinton has a local campground, as well William Switzer Park offers many amazing camping locations. Bring your Kayaks, Canoes or Paddle board and come for a tour. Maybe Fishing is your thing, besides the Athabasca River, there are many great lakes and streams to come and enjoy.
